  1. Flash cards don't really work for me. I tried them in A&P. In all my other classes just paying attention in lecture and then doing study notes helps me. Not in pharm though. I'm beginning to wonder if it's just this prof. I've talked to a few people who had a different prof and they said it was easy.
  2. This class is kicking my butt!! There is just soooooo much information. I've tried reading the text, I've tried taking notes and I've done concept maps. Any other suggestions to make it a little easier to understand?
  3. I'm just in my first semester so my long day isn't as bad as yours. Mondays I have a 3 hr physical assessment lecture followed by a 3 hr patho/pharm lecture. I can't imagine what 12 hr clinicals are going to be like! Erin
  4. I am 37 in my 3rd week of my first semester in the nursing program. I am married with 4 kids. It's never too late and good luck to you!

Hey everyone! I just started in the nursing program and had an instructor recommend this site to us. I've been looking around and there seems to be LOTS of information. Anyway, like I said, I just started the program this fall, I am married and have 4 children. It's all been very overwhelming and there have been a couple times where I've asked myself, "What am I doing?" I am almost 40 yrs old here! Does anyone have ANY tips on how to get through the next 3 yrs without pulling my hair out? LoL Erin
