Greetings All, I am looking forward to starting my new journey in the healthcare field. I worked in an entirely different field for over 17 years, so this is very new to me. I entered into a 1-year program to gain knowledge of healthcare and to continue on and take a 6 month Cardiology Technician program followed by entry into an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist program. Are there any Medical Assistant on here that work for a Cardiologist or on the Cardiology floor of a Hospital? If so are you looking to advance your Career? Would me obtaining a Cardiology Technician Certification while being a Medical Assistant give me a boost. (This Program teaches you how to read the ECG's) or would it be pointless if I were to possibly land a job with a Cardiology clinic (thinking this might be able to be on the job training). I know each clinic, State, etc are different, I was just wondering in a broad sense of the question. I'm hoping there are many more Medical Assisting Students/ or Medical Assistants on this forum to chat with.... Good Day All
