  1. Well I married young, met my hubby when I was in high school. He is an engineer. Still in my twenties and was already married before I started nursing earlier this year. We have a lot of residents and interns in my hospital, I get asked out by patients, patients family, coworkers and so forth on almost a daily basis ( I tell them I am married with children and they don't believe me lol) even my coworkers including the females are shock to find out I am married and even have kids. I mean, I have had pts try to hook me up with their family or friends. I don't find it fun, I find it very awkward. To be honest, most of the MDs (even though they are also young) are not that cute. Even if I was single, I just would not want to compete with their schedule. We have one male nurse in my unit who is gay, 2 float pool male nurses who are already married and the rest are female nurses. I don't think nursing is where you come to meet husbands but you definitely can meet one there.
  2. Hello everyone, been so happy and forgot to come back and update! I passed! It is such a great feeling. Wish each and everyone of you the same! Oh and congrats to all of you that just passes too!!!
  3. So I just called Pearson Vue. They told me that there was a little delay because of their computer issue with getting candidate's signature but they have uploaded my signature (after my exam, I had to sign on a paper instead) from the paper into their system. So I should receive my result tomorrow by 10am (that's when I finish my exam) that it takes 48 business days and Sunday is not included.
  4. Congratulations Pittsnurse24! Go out and celebrate your accomplishment!!!
  5. Where are you? I am in DC!
  6. Mine still says the same thing. The results are not yet available
  7. Yes I will keep you all posted! Good luck to you all too!
  8. Oh no, I am not in the business of cheating. Hate when people cheat, especially in nursing. Plus it would be stupid to go there and cheat (don't know why people do stupid things like that). I am worried because I don't know if I pass or not. Even though I felt good through out the exam, you never know for sure what you will get in nursing exams until you see your results. I followed the rules everything was good. Just at the beginning (before I even got to the exam room) their computer was not taking the people ahead of me signatures. She had to call some people and we had to wait for about 15 minutes and the people she called told her to do everything else except the signature part and allow us to go test than waiting any longer.
  9. Thank you! That makes sense though, because the person that sign us in could not get our signature. Something was wrong with the system/computer. The system was not taking the previous people's signature so she made some phone calls and then about 15 minutes later, she allowed us to take the exam without the signature but we had to sign our signature at the end on a paper.
  10. It took me about 2 hours to finish the 75 questions. Everything went well except that the person that sign us in could not take our signature because something was wrong with the system. OMG, I wasn't worried but now I am!
  11. I took my NCLEX yesterday Feb 14 and stopped at 75 questions. I knew I passed when it went off because the questions seem so much easier than Kaplan's and I guest I was well prepared. I did the PVT yesterday and today (24hrs later) it says "The Candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time." However, I am sure I pass! Anyway, my question is, what is the difference between the "test being on hold" with "our records indicate......?" is it the same thing? Maybe different states say it differently?I see that some people have either one of those and was wondering if they meant the same thing? Anyone have a clue???
  12. Hi, I took my exam too yesterday Feb 14 and stopped at 75 questions. I knew I passed when it went off because the questions seem so much easier than Kaplan's and I guest I was well prepared. I did the PVT yesterday and today it says "The Candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time." Anyway I am sure I pass put I just want to see it for sure! What is the difference between the "test being on hold" with "our records indicate......?" is it the same thing? Maybe different states say it differently?
  13. Congratulations! I just enrolled for Kaplan yesterday (graduated Dec. 19). Haven't gotten my ATT yet so I don't know when I will take my NCLEX. Please give any helpful advice regarding the NCLEX or studying with Kaplan. Thanks
  14. @Nuguynurse2b. Thanks for picking up the mistake! However, this was a typo.I Definitely know the difference between those two words. If you own an iPhone or any other smart phones, you will know how easily it is for this to happen!!!! Thanks anyway
  15. @RunnerRN2b2014, congrats to you too! You will definitely take NCLEX before me. Wow, please let us know how NCLEX went after you take it. And any tips will be appreciated after you take your NCLEX.
