Ok I know I was asking about London and Nursing but I was just in Paris and loved it !!! Does anyone know the criteria to work there? I am perfectly bilingual in french and have the Rn status of a Canadian Nurse who is in the process of doing my Bachelors. If anyone has information please pass it on!!! Hi! I am a Montreal Nurse who has begun the NMC application process... I expect the package in near futur. I was wondering if there are any ex-patriots that experienced the waiting period. How long is it really? The woman at the NMC ( I was in London 2 wks ago) told me two months? How realistic is that? Mmm... As for salary... Can I live and enjoy social outings living in zone 1 or 2 on a Nurses wages? I have one and a half years of Nursing experience and am currently doing some Bachelor courses online.Is it safe to say that finding a nursing job in London is feasable for a overseas Nurse? Sorry about all the questions... I would appreciate any response! Cannot wait to be in London!!! :balloons:

I would like to ask the U.K Nurses out there... How they enjoy their work and if they could compare it to Canadian experiences especially if in Montreal. I am very interested in moving to London for work... However I must register with the N.M.C... They told me it could take 2-3 months for a possible go ahead.... Is that realistic? In addition, I have my german passport, will this help my situation at all? Cannot wait to hear responses... xox :Melody:

Hullo! I am a Canadian Registered Nurse who wishes to work in the U.K. Could someone indicate how long the process would be to obtain this privaledge?
