  1. @ skybmonkey Not yet! I'll keep you posted :) Good luck to both of us!
  2. Can anyone give tips on how your interviews were like? I'd like to do my very best to be successful in the next upcoming interview(s). :) any advice would be GREATly appreciated.
  3. Just received it yesterday, how bout you?
  4. Still waiting as well Checking the mail everyday. Hoping to hear back from them soon!
  5. Thanks for the optimism. Hopefully we all land something soon. Got masses of loans to pay back
  6. Hm, still haven't heard anything back yet I was looking at one of the Facebook posts regarding the CIS position and it seems that yesterday they were still interviewing a few candidates.. Haha still have high hopes ..
  7. Did anyone else hear anything back from CoH for the CIS position? Still haven't heard anything if nothing today I'll try contacting them tomorrow..
  8. nope, still waiting.
  9. I still haven't received a call. Kinda nervous. Keep posting guys! Thanks!
  10. No, I have not. I received a call from HR on Monday to come in for an in-person interview. But there was no phone interview.
  11. Is the phone screen interview for the CIS position? Or for the BSN New Grad? I have an in person interview scheduled for tomorrow (for CIS position).
  12. I'm still currently job hunting. I mean it is a tough boat for nursing students from all schools. WCU has Career Services that always keeps us updated on job openings in state and out-of-state. I have a few upcoming interviews though, so I mean it's hopeful. I guess it all just depends on how hard you try after graduation on finding work.
  13. Did any of you guys get a confirmation email of when you're interview will be? I was one of the candidates that received the "CIS temporary position offer" but in my confirmation email stated that Ill be interviewing for the "Clinical Nurse I - BSN New Grad Prog Oct 2013".. Feedback anyone? I'm hoping I just really get an interview for the New Grad Prog instead of the CIS! either one would be great though.
  14. I'm actually a graduate from the WCU in Orange County, I graduated earlier this April. I personally really enjoyed the program. It is an accelerated program, you can earn your BSN in 3 years but that means going to school non-stop even during summer. One semester consists of 3 terms (1 term=9 weeks), after each term you get a week break from school then start up again. It can be pretty stressful, but it's well worth it. They have many great instructors and good resources for you to use throughout the program (which they BETTER have with the amount the tuition is) and there are also some instructors that didn't teach too well, but this is the problem at all schools I would believe. Some complaints I have is 1) tend to give school schedules (clinical rotations, sites and classes) pretty late notice, about 1 months - 2 weeks notice on the upcoming term schedule. So if you're working just let your boss know that you'll need some flexibility with your schedule with work. 2) the tuition - but they have financial aid advisers that give you different options on how to pay (private loans, scholarships, FAFSA, some hospitals help with reimbursement). From what I know about community colleges it seems very tough to get the classes you want and even harder to get into the nursing program, and keep in mind at CC they graduate with associates. Many hospitals now don't consider looking at ADN applicants anymore. If you have any questions just PM. Hope this kinda helps.
  15. Hey fellow nurses! Did anyone receive a call back from ------------------- for an interview for the CIS position? I'm pretty nervous.
