I work in an Elementary and have an occasional student pee in his/her pants. We assist in hygiene, change to clean clothes, and send a note home to parents informing of incidence and to ask to return the borrowed clothes. Unless its a frequent flyer, we do not call the parents. Do you feel we should call the parent instead of sending a note since its not a medical emergency or issue that needs immediate attention?
  2. If Doc writes like he mumbles, no wonder you poor Nurses call the shots, you can't read what they wrote and can't understand what they say!!
  3. I work in an Elementary School and we have found several instances where a little girl has smeared poop on the bathroom wall. Guessing its the same student as it appears to be the same design. As the Nurse, they would like me to address the girls all together and apply some hygiene instruction along with some assertiveness. Any suggestions on how I may go about giving some assertiveness while still making the subject modest???
