I'm currently in Boston. I work at south shore hospital which is 15 miles south of boston butI chose housing in the city and drive to the hospital. Parking is expensive but i think its worth it to experience the city. I work in a level 2 trauma, extremely busy. Usually about 110 patients. It's 5:1 typically. It's a good experience.
You are not alone. Im in the same boat. Not married. No kids. No pets. I knew the loneliness would be the hardest aspect, but it's really starting to get to me. You're definitely talking to a person who feels your pain. I'm currently in Boston and going to California next. Hoping it's easier to meet people there.
Hi tech1000! So you're currently in MA? I'm in Boston till oct17 and desperate for company. If you are here, I'd love to meet up to spend time together. Let me know if youre interested. Sarah
I haven't started traveling yet because I'm looking for a good agency. But a definite con for me is the possibility of being lonely going somewhere by yourself. I didn't know strangers traveled together. Has anyone on here actually done that and it didn't go well? Or went really well? Share your knowledge with me! :)
