I just got into stony brook so I will not be attending downstate. Good luck to everyone !

I am on the alternate list for the accelerated program and if I am called for that I will give up my spot in the basic bsn program so you can definitely get called !

I got accepted as well! And I am on the alternate list for the accelerated program. Anyone in the same boat?

My solar account also changed to include "New Student Preferences" Hopefully this means we were accepted and we will hear from them tomorrow :)

I was told that no emails are going out and they send out decisions in the mail yesterday

No they ARE sending more acceptances tomorrow.

I just called the school and I was told another batch is going to go out tomorrow :-)

I hope we hear something today as well! I can't wait any longer!

No I have not heard anything yet. I think they are going to start calling in May.

I am also waiting to make my final decision to see if I get accepted into stony brooks accelerated program or SUNY downstates accelerated program. They are much more affordable.

I didn't study at all and I scored in the 80's. I don't remember the actual score but it is not that hard if you have a basic understanding of algebra, decimals, and fractions.

I am also waiting to hear something and I am on the alternate list...I wonder how many students are on the list?

Youre right. I know people that had a 4.0 GPA and got rejected and I know someone with a 2.9 GPA that got into the accelerated so it is NOT just based upon GPA alone. They are looking for well-rounded students.

The deposit is due by May 1st and I live on Long Island so if I decide to attend I am going to have to move closer in...maybe brooklyn or Staten Island. How about you ?

Do you guys know how much the accelerated program costs?

Hey yes I got an email regarding the admitted students day..the deposit is $300 and I had all of my prerequisites finished and teas exam done when I applied so I am going to call tomorrow to make sure that they have all of that information.

I just got my acceptance in the mail today!

I just received an e-mail for an interview!

I don't think so because we are supposed to have an answer by May 1st
