Hey Robert, I am currently in the BSN program too. Congrats on getting in. As far as commuting, that seems like quite the commitment to me. You don't necessarily have clinicals the first semester, but once you do (starting 2nd semester) you will have to be at the hospital pretty early. If you don't mind early mornings then that may work for you. Also, nursing classes tire you out and I know after first semester I was done by the end of the day. As far as ride shares, I am not sure unless you can carpool with a fellow student. I would recommend looking at staying on campus if you can. A couple of people in my cohort did since they were not from the area either, and your classes are literally 5 min walk from where you live.

Also, I know a couple people who were admitted to the program for this last Fall. It really just depends on the semester you apply and the application pool. I believe scores in the 90's are pretty solid. However, I am not too sure. I know people who got in with a TEAS score of 70.

Hey amberkarrer and sil410, are you both transferring over to Stanislaus? You both have phenomenal stats! I have a 3.80 GPA, 4.0 Science and 3.92 Non-Science. I got an 85.3 on the TEAS. No bilingual or anything, but got some volunteer hours done. I calculated and it looks like I got somewhere in the 90's. I am not exactly sure. I'm getting so nervous knowing it is only 6 weeks away and then we will find out!

Hey quynhneth, the application for the Spring admission needs to be in by the end of September and for Fall it is the month of February. Anytime within those months. Although if you're not a student you need to apply to the university first.
