Hi! I hope somebody can enlighten me on some of my concerns: a. My PD is Feb 2007. The Visa Bulletin for September of this year is currently processing Dec 2006. What do I need to do once my PD becomes current? b. My lawyer asked me to update my documents and submit all pertinent papers like nbi clearance, copy of passport, marriage contract, additional dependents etc..Do I have to wait for my PD to be current before submitting all these requirements? C. When do I pay the visa fee bill for my spouse and son? How am I going to pay for the visa fee bill? Can I pay it before my PD becomes current? Thanks!! Your kind advise is truly appreciated! c.

Hi! I am new to this thread. I am also a nurse from the Philippines and I intend to take the NCLEX for the state of Illinois. In the application package, it says there that I need to submit a CES from CGFNS. I have already obtained my CGFNS certificate as well as my VISA Screen. As I read further down the instruction, it says that in lieu of the CES I can submit a proof of issuance of the original certificates given by CGFNS such as the CGFNS Certificate and Visa Screen. Can I just send photocopies of these 2 certificates or do I need to request CGFNS to send copies to the Board of Nursing..Thank you very much!!!!

I am scheduled to take my English Proficiency Exam 2 weeks from now. After which I will renew my visa screen and hope that I will receive it just before the interview. I am planning to work in Chicago and the BON requires a valid Visa Screen for an NCLEX applicant to be eligible to sit in for the exam..

Yes, I have passed my CGFNS way back 2005 and have received my visa screen on the same year. But my visa screen expired 3 years ago already and I did not realize that I have to have a valid visa screen until i learned that my application from 8 years ago has been approved and my priority date is soon to be current. I am from the Philippines. I just don't know where to start with the process. It has been a while already. Thank you so much!!!

Hi everyone! I almost have the same case. My priority date is feb 2007.. I am waiting for it to become current and my VISA Screen has expired 3 years ago. I am scheduled to take my IELTS in 2 weeks and I have not started my application to take the NCLEX yet. Will this pose a problem or delay in my interview? And another thing, how do I apply for a visa for my husband and son? Thanks!
