Ut Tyler nursing spring 2016
Thank you for doing this! I worked last night and did not have time to call them by the time I woke up this morning. I understand that they have to account for people saying no and that allows other people in. I am so frustrated and anxious. I have a lease term ending and if I need to quit and find a new place in Tyler then sooner rather than later is better.

For anyone who is just now coming to this thread.... I just got off the phone with the SON, I was informed that they are having trouble with their email system and that it could be as late as Monday for you to receive notifications. FYI congrats to all those who have already been accepted!

Always trying to excel
Hey guys! So I'm a TMT (Tele monitor tech) and I've gotten into the swing of things with reading and monitoring so my question for you guys is: what are something's that really impress you about your techs? What are some things they do that you like or wish they would change? I feel like its hard to build rapport and support with the nursing staff when we are always just calling about problems etc... So really just looking for ways to improve my performance and work more closely with the nurses! Thanks!

Marriage, military and nursing
SO I have a quickie quesiton that i havent come across while reading through some of these threads. Lets assume that I am married, bsn, rn, and my spouse is likewise. Let us also assume that we both want to join the same branch of the military and just for the sake of argument we have exactly the same credentials, grades, acceptance into (unspecified branch). Do you get deployed together? stationed together? to what extent do you stay together and is it based on military in general or branch specific? thanks! P.S. the current threads on branch and general military nursing questions have been an outstanding resource over the past hour or so of perusing!

Getting Married in School?
Hey guys so I was just wanting some opinions on getting married while in school, I have read a couple of threads and wanted a little more specificity with my situation. My gf and I have been together for a while now and we are both planning on going to nursing school, actually we have decided recently that we will attend together (regardless of marital status) so that we don't have to be separated for 2 years. I work full time so one question I have is whether or not that is going to have to change once we get to school. Another question I have is just the general atmosphere of being in school together while also being newly married. I hear a lot of people say that the biggest mistake you can make is to add the stress of school (any type of education) onto a new marriage but everyone is different. So just wanting some opinions from some people who maybe have been in or through this situation! Thanks! We are both young and don't want to have kids until after school and a couple of years of work (just more bg info)

Review on Anywear Exact shoes
Alright you lovely people of the allnurse.com forums! I need some new shoes and I want to get something comfortable but not 10000000$ since I'm still in school, I have always found "you get what you pay for" to be true but sometimes there are reasonable bargains out there... so I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on these: http://www.anywears.com/shop/style.php?category=32651&style_id=EXACT&color_id=BLK&identifier_id= I'm willing to spend the 40$ but I also don't want to waste it if they are going to fall apart easily or suck in general. Thanks guys!
