  7. Hi everyone! First time on the boards here. I've been slacking on the goal paper but hopefully i'll have it handed to LSU by this friday. ive been skimming the past threads trying to get a gauge on who gets in and who doesn't. I've been reading that some people got in with a 3.5 gpa and 80 HESI while others with a higher gpa and HESI score that didnt, so needless to say, I'm a little nervous! My GPA is 3.0 and i scored an 85 on the HESI. My CT is 870. however my overall GPA is at about a 2.5 or 2.6. =\ I know the interview is a huge factor, but im hoping my scores and goal paper is good enough to at least grant me the interview! Anyone else have a similar gpa and hesi score that's trying to get in? And what are your thoughts on the advantages and disadvantages of a male that's going for something in a seemingly female dominant field?
