  1. I did well but worked hard! I love micro, though...
  2. I took an online Microbiology course through the University of New England and it had a lecture portion and a virtual lab. I don't remember the cost, but it was a good class and it was accepted as a prereq for my BSN program. I would recommend it.
  3. Palpate vs palpitate (Really? You are going to palpitate the abdomen?)
  4. My sweet mom says "prostrate" (prostate) and "menopulse" (menopause). I don't bother to correct her.
  5. ESTJ - I am a new nursing student (changing careers) with a background in science and math who is not sure which area of nursing I want to go into yet. I guess I should get through school first. :)
  6. If you already have a BS in something (even if it is not medical), check out a 2nd degree program. The U of Wisconsin Oshkosh has a 2nd degree online accelerated BSN program. Of course, you would still need all of the prerequisites, but they are clearly listed on their webpage.
  7. I would say that you most certainly should study. ATI has a great study guide that I found to be quite helpful. Unless you remember all of your 8th grade math and science, a review would probably be to your benefit. Here is a link from a different forum that may be of assistance to you: https://allnurses.com/teas-exam-help/how-i-passed-804222.html
  8. Anestheisa4you - I'm interested, as well. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, everyone.
  9. I got in!! I look forward to meeting everyone!
  10. No word, but they're killing me with the campus news event emails!! An email from OshKosh?!? Oh darn, just another event...
  11. And... still checking emails. bkohl, I believe I am as anxious as you. :) Best of luck with your email interview.
  12. Interviews are like Fight Club. :) [h=3]1st RULE: You do not talk about interviews. 2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about interviews. Seriously, best of luck to everyone! I'm still checking my email every day even though I don't expect to hear either way for many more weeks, ha ha. [/h]
  13. I applied to the May 2014 cohort and recently completed the phone and email interviews, so they are definitely in the process! Now... checking email every day, even though it says that final results don't have to come out until the end of Dec. I'm working hard and keeping my fingers crossed!
