  1. Dont waste your time, this is over. My post was not intended for entertainment. But to get advice, if i cant get it from people who i thought would be decent enough to. Then im done wasting my time.
  2. You guys are really sensitive i see lol. I dont think i want to ever marry or date a male nurse. Because they might just get offended over anything! wow
  3. Oh I'm sorry for defending myself. I guess all cnas, rns, lpns, lvns or doctors have to be pushovers and not have strong opinions or not stand up for what they believe in!
  4. Where did i call myself a RN though? I referred myself as a nurse because i work as a cna not a RN!
  5. Thanks for the advice and for keeping it to a respectful level. As far as me having an "attitude" I'm just not going to let someone belittle me, that's all. And aren't all humans entitled to their own opinions. You just gave me yours and i 100% respect it. There are ways of saying things without coming across as a rude sarcastic person, maybe i misunderstood, but she wasn't the nicest either.
  6. #1 Thanks for the info. #2 If they delete this thread i could care less. I didnt post this to get any attention, i posted this to get advice from "kind" nurses. #3 I'm a CNA can you show me where i said i was an RN? I said i am a nurse meaning a cna not a RN. #4 I wasn't attacking anyone, if she decides to attack me on my post, on my terms that is not ok. I suggest for anyone else who is going to post, if you are not going to give me any useful advice about the topic, please do us both a favor and do not leave a comment.
  7. Why specifically do you think it would suit me more? Just curious.
  8. Yes sweety and i've done more work than you'll ever do in your entire career, if you really have one that is. Why are you still on my post anyways? Is this as much thrill as you get in your pathetic life?
  9. Thanks for going through my previous post, and sorry i dont update people on every detail of my personal life, for your information she decided to have me start earlier because of there need for staff members. But how would you know that? Of course your NOT a cna, nor do you even know me or my life!
  10. Sweety i can do whatever i want you're on my post, get that clear. Also you apparently can't read, because i said FASHION design NOT interior design, clear that one too. As for a CNA i work at LTC facility and do more work than you've probably done in your whole life so don't come at me with that nonsense! As for your advice, thanks but go ahead and give it to someone who has intentions in majoring in INTERIOR design.
  11. Well for a person who's not a nurse i sure do work hard like one. Thanks for the advice. Also i dont think I'm afraid of any sensitive nurses trying to get on my case, or "hurt" me. I'm entitled to my opinion. If i dont major in fashion design i will go for my BSN because everyone knows that CNA's work a billion times harder than RNs because they have to do all the dirty, hard, back-breaking work. I personally don't enjoy the dirty part of being a cna, but i do it because i love helping those in need, and i won't be a cna forever trust me!
  12. That's what i meant. That people have this stereotypical idea that doctor's only love should be medicine and nothing else. Like if they're not humans who are entitled to have other interests that don't necessarily involve reading or something medically related.
  13. I DONT need your sarcasm/attitude. I was asking for an opinion, not for your judgement. I am a nurse myself and i love doing it. I am not considering becoming a doctor because a degree in nursing isn't good enough for me. I am considering it because it's one of my many passions as a diverse and intellect person. If you had a problem with MY post you didn't need to leave a comment!
  14. Ok this might sound crazy to you, but bare with me. So im 18 and plan to go to college next year. Im currently work as a cna and before becoming a cna I always interested in becoming a fashion designer. I got certified in high school and spent 3 years in a nursing assistant program and just talking and learning about the med field and healthcare, i started to wonder if i really want to major in fashion design, even though it's what i wanted to be ever since i was 12. Now at my age im thinking fashion design might not give me that promising future i could have if i go to medical school and become an ob/gyn. I am serious about the medical field and i want to become a doctor. I heard that it doesn't matter what you major in college as long as you get a high GPA and meet the pre-med prerequisites requirements. Do you think it's a good idea for me to major in fashion design and then do everything i have to do and then apply to med school? I was also thinking of going to college for nursing (BSN) since it's very relate-able to me, and then going to med school but i love fashion and i want it to be a part of my life. Doctors don't have to be uninteresting bookworms. Please give me some advice. Don't just read and go back. I need opinions so i could make up my mind, so please help I'll really appreciate it and take every opinion into consideration.
