  1. @CLUVLPN. My email is [email protected] or [email protected] (either one) I actually have had several people comining in who are in doing thier prerequisites. I have seen some of thier orientation sheets :) I feel like Im getting early infomation. Do you remember orientation? for the two day, what all do they cover?
  2. @CLUVLPN, I secured my seat. I have to go Monday and pay the balance (not to much) I really hope that its not only intense but that it is fast paced. I have questions about testing. How often do you test? Do you have the schedule available that you could send me?fax is 5618406024. When is your last scheduled day and how long after is Graduation? Are the test computerized or paper? Can I bring in earplugs? Im not a good test taker if there are distractions
  3. @ CLUVLPN and SAV2010, You have HELPED SOOOO MUCH! CLUVLPN -- I am hopeing to be in with SAV2010 in September! (and I will feel like I have friends entering :)) All I am waiting on is the finacial aid appointment. I to am married but no children and will be working full time. So I'm certain that loans will have to be the way. But hopefully I can cover it all and move along quickly. Fingers Crossed they call me today with a Financial Aid appointment! Can I ask your first names? I am Shanna. Again I thank you both for all your help. I really do appreciate it!
  4. SAV2010 I posted some questions above that maybe you can answer. Have you been approved and for sure sitting in class? I am still in process and really hoping to get in. Please tell me about financial aid and the remaining steps. Have they told you when payment is due? Do they provide you a schedule like PBSC did?
  5. Hi CLUVLPN, I actually have the prereqs, physical and lab work done :) I am working currently as an LPN (St. Mary’s EH nurse) and supplied the letter of recommendation. I asked about the entrance exam and they said I didn’t need to take it. Maybe because I didn’t go to LPN school but failed out of RN school previously? Not sure either way if it is easy—lay it on me :). I have also given them my college and high school transcripts. I also look forward to the fast pace. I really would like to know about the actual class. How often do they test you? Is the program self paced, as in can you move through faster? Is it computerized or paper? Do the classes really run 5-11pm M-Th or is extra time needed? How are clinicals done? Tell me about the fee schedule? When do you pay for classes? I am not wealthy but don’t usually qualify for aid. I am hoping to find out my appointment with financial aid today. I guess my two main concerns are cost (isn’t everyone’s?) and time. I felt like with PBSC they never wanted to help anyone, I was a number not a student. I can’t quit my job so I need to know they can coincide and succeed. :) I appreciate your time…………..you have been extremely helpful.
  6. @CLUVLPN I am looking into begining the program for LPN to RN at ANHO. I would love to chat with you about the program. I as well went to PBSC for classes first. I can't PM you personal info, as I am a new register. My questions are about the begining process, how the program flows and actual or additional cost from a student perspective! How far along are you in the program now? Thanks Shanna
