  1. The PVT did work for me! My license was posted on Wednesday! It was a longer wait than the rest of my classmates, but I'm glad I passed! I can have my life back! That is until I decide to further my education :)
  2. My state doesn't do quick results. From what I understand, in Arkansas, they won't send us a letter or anything verifying whether or not we passed. We have to find out for sure by going to license verification on our BON website and search ourselves. If our temp is Null & Void and we don't have a license posted, then we failed. If we have a license issued and our temp is null & void, then we passed. Everyone in my class who has passed has had their licensed on the 48 hour mark.
  3. I just took my NCLEX today and I've done the Pearson Vue Trick and got the "good pop up." Has anyone gotten the "good pop up" and actually did not pass the test? Also, since I took it on a Friday and Labor Day is on Monday, will it take longer for me find out if I actually passed? Everyone in my class who has taken it has told me their license posted 48 hours after testing, but everyone else has taken theirs on either a Monday or a Tuesday. Any and all info would be helpful! Thanks!
  4. I work in a doctor's office! Great hours, wonderful benefits, and paid holidays! I could not have asked for a better job! It doesn't pay as much as a nursing home or homehealth would, but the pay isn't bad either. And with my guaranteed hours and good benefits, it weighs out evenly.

  6. I'm having difficulties trying to find this on the ASBN website. Is there any specific area or key words I should try searching?
  7. I just graduated school a few weeks ago. I'm still waiting on my temp license to come in along with my ATT, but they told us that it could take up to 4-6 weeks for that. In the mean time, I found a job in a clinic. They told me I could draw blood, take vitals, etc. I just can not give any medications until my temp license becomes available. BUT a girl I had graduated with messaged me yesterday and told me I better not be doing any invasive procedures such as drawing blood or giving injections. Does anyone know the actual laws or rules on this (and quite possibly send me a link to he info)? I've tried searching online, but I can't find anything. If it helps, this is in Arkansas.
