  1. I am in the same boat as you! I just made this post over here about the same thing. I just happened to come across your thread when I was searching. I posted this the other day: https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/very-annoyed-saint-845784.html
  2. I talked with an advisor and they act like I'm just SOL. I was advised to make an appeal, but she made it sound like that would be pointless because then everyone in this situation would want the same thing. How do I know they won't do this again, after fulfilling their other requirements (which, BTW, seem pretty pointless). I've been happy with this school until this point.
  3. About a year ago, I started attending StLCC in the hopes of being a nursing student. An advisor told me to take biology and chemistry, since I last took those over 5 years ago. I did that and also got a few of the other required general ed classes out of the way. I took the dosage calculation test and passed it at the end of May. I didn't get the results for a month, even though I was told it would only take two weeks. I fulfilled the bio/chem and dosage calc test requirements and go to apply to the program. Right before I did this, they changed the prerequisites! If I had known this, I would have taken those new classes instead of the other general ed classes that aren't needed to get on the list. Is anyone else in this situation? I know life isn't fair, but this really stinks. I'm in my 30s and don't have time to waste.
