About a year ago, I started attending StLCC in the hopes of being a nursing student. An advisor told me to take biology and chemistry, since I last took those over 5 years ago. I did that and also got a few of the other required general ed classes out of the way. I took the dosage calculation test and passed it at the end of May. I didn't get the results for a month, even though I was told it would only take two weeks. I fulfilled the bio/chem and dosage calc test requirements and go to apply to the program. Right before I did this, they changed the prerequisites! If I had known this, I would have taken those new classes instead of the other general ed classes that aren't needed to get on the list. Is anyone else in this situation? I know life isn't fair, but this really stinks. I'm in my 30s and don't have time to waste.
