Where did you go to school in Philadelphia?

I took my 5th exam yesterday. It was on the Nervous System and I have been waiting all morning for my instructor to post my grade. My overall grade is a high B so far but since I work a full-time job with three kids I can't study as much as I would like. Good luck to you!

I am going to give it a shot! A lot of people say they liked A&P ll better than A&P l. I would only be taking those two classes with one other class.... an elective.

Is anyone taking A&P and microbiology together this semester. My advisor sent me a letter saying I could apply now if I finish those two classes next semester. I was going to take them separately.

I have my first A&P exam tonight. I can't wait to get it over with. I feel pretty confident. I am just so anxious!

I received the course syllabus for A&PI and the first lecture! Lord have mercy. I pray I can keep up. I started to get a little intimidated but I know I can do it. Did anyone start classes yet?

Thanks for the motivation. I love the quotes.I am excited to learn. I want to learn everything and experience everything that nursing school has to offer. My goal years ago was to become a medical assistant first to get my feet wet and experience the hospital surrounding. You must be perfect with starting IV's. Great advice... I will be assertive during clincals. Thank you!

Jump in with both feet. I love that! This is something that I wanted so bad for years. I am finally ready to give it my all.

Are there any nursing students who has not worked in a hospital setting? Did you find your clinicals harder than others who work in that field like cnas or mas?

I am taking A&P l and Human Development. Then in the Spring I am taking A&P ll and a humanity course. Finally Micro in the summer. I am hoping to start the nursing program next fall.

I have 5 more prerequisites to finish until I'm able to apply to nursing school. I'll be 31 in a few months. I know this won't be easy but I am ready to work hard. I hope we can keep in touch and motivate each other.
