  1. hi jenspec, would you mind if I ask who was the counsul in your letter. I have a friend who has the same problem like you when she verified it, she found out that the counsul who handles her case was on leave that is why her papers was still not reviewed. When was your interview anyway? To all of you guys, is it normal to have delayed visa issuance? Eventhough all documents was already complete.
  2. Rep, thanks for giving an answer. Will the embassy schedule my medical? or I 'll be the one to call the St. Luke's clinic for schedule? How about if ever I am going the medical what I am going to present since my passport was in embassy. I hope to have an answer, this is a big help for me. Thanks a lot.
  3. Suzanne thanks to your reply. To make it more clearly, I was interviewed and have my medical exam last Sept. 2004. During my interview I still haven't my visa screen since the agency wan't able to process it early. I got it January during the time of retrogression. When it was lifted last June the embassy ask me to submit my latest NBI and just recently they ask me to submit the updated job offer. For me it was a waste of time because they did not included it to their June letter and now I having a short time to have it submitted before expiration of my medical. What will happened if my medical got expired? Do I need to undergo the interview again? How are they going to schedule the medical in my situation? Please help. also if somebody have an idea I will appreciate this.
  4. Hello everybody, it's nice to be back. I'm just quite depress this past few days coz I still haven't my visa. The embassy was asking for me to submit an updated job offer from the hospital I will work with. Now I waiting for it. Is that right? That they need to ask it again eventhough they have it since I was interviewed last year. My medical exam will be expired this September, what will happened if I still don't have my visa? or if ever I have it and didn't make it to leave for US before the expiration of my medical? Guys please help me. I have plenty of worries, it's eating my nerve. I'm having severe anxiety, I can't even breath!
  5. Hi Prasin! I always read everybody's post but I frequently reply 'coz I still don't have any good news. I'm waiting for so long for my visa and I'm getting depress waiting. I called the embassy and they told me to just wait of the advise from embassy. One of my friend told me that their attorney told them that visa issuance will still be base to priority date. Is that true? Do you have any idea if somebody here got their visa? or those with 2003 priority date? hope to hear good news. please pray for all of us.
  6. dhel28, I'm done with my medical and interview (packet4) will I expect something from them or I'll just wait/follow up my visa? I also emailed the embassy and replied to me that they are clearing the backlog and will start process pending visa by late June. I also emailed the NVC to confirm if I belong to Schedule A.
  7. Hello, I just called the US embassy Manila to follow up my visa/case, they told me that E3 category/preference (nurse) is automatically under the EX. They told me that they are still following the June bulletin cut off date and lifting of retrogression starts July 1. They told me that all pending cases will be process on July. They also instructed me to call them anytime on July. Do you have the same response? (for those who called the embassy.
  8. How about if your done with the Packet4 (interview & medical) and your visa was just delayed because of retrogression, where do you need to call/follow-up? NVC or the embassy? If my preference category is E3 (nurse), am I belong to Schedule A?
  9. Dhel28, your not alone. I also experience the same. I called the Immigrant Visa Center awhile ago to follow-up my visa/ ask when can I receive my visa since I'm already complete with the process. The call center agent insist that Schedule A worker is different from the E3. I got confuse, is that so? As I understand it Schedule A is the same as E3 for nurses. What's going on? I don't get it. The agent told me to call again after 2-3 weeks to know the feedback of my concerns. Men, that's too long! I'm disappointed!
  10. During the interview the embassy look for my visa screen, I told them that I'm still waiting for my TSE. They told me to submit my visa screen as soon as I receive it, and as what Rep has said about his friend I was considered to be a "walk in applicant". When I submitted my visa screen it was time of retrogression that is why I haven't receive my visa. My passport and original documents was in embassy already, they told me that they will give it back to me together with my visa. How long will be the processing of visa, since its current now?
  11. Do you have an idea how long to receive the visa? I'm done with my packet4 (medical & consul interview) last September 2004, it just happened that I pass TSE October of 2004 and given the visa screen on February 2005. Is it possible for me to receive my visa on July?
  12. Hello everybody! With regards to this issue, I would like to know if it's possible for me to receive my visa before September? I'm done with my Packet4 (medical & consul interview) last September 2004, it just happened that I pass my TSE October 2004 and my visa screen got delayed, I was able to submit it to the US Embassy Manila last February. Will I be able to receive my visa soon? Thanks in advance.
  13. Dear Everyone, I have some concerns regarding CES, I would like to know if I still need to request my school to send the Request for Academic Records and if I still need to ask the Professional Regulation Commission here in the Philippines to send the Request for Validation of Registration/License. CGFNS already have that 2 requirements since it was been sent to them for my visa screen certificate and I already meet it. Do I need to ask my instituion to send it again? Please advise me. Thanks in advance.
  14. CHEERS TO ALL OF US!!!! These threads really help everyone, especially those nurses who are waiting for their visa to be process... GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!
  15. Thanks to all of you... I was really happy to hear your advises. I got the Saunders 2005, I also have a Kaplan book and Mosby. Do you think that I should just consider Saunders? Thanks.
