  1. I can not believe some of the comments that are being made about Simple Nursing.Com website, it is completely laughable. I am not a admin on his site nor am I being coached to say what I am about to share. If anyone feel his site is not that great, than guess what? You, can not create a youtube channel and your website fill it with the "ac curacies," you see fit. If he did or did not fail Nursing school so what!! What does that have to do with the price of tea in china? LMFAOOOOO, are we serious? How many people in this forum had bribed his/her way through nursing school? How many people in here were academic leeches in the Nursing program to graduate? It is not were you from it is were you are at.
  2. I hear so many people going for the Medical Assistant Training, as it is the best option when in reality it is not. The private schools are charging $16,000 to $20,000 for NINE MONTHS of training, when with a couple months extra you can be in a LPN program graduating and exceed far better than a medical assistant. Ten years ago, it was a great position to go for, because there was an abundance of positions at least here in New York City.
  3. Yes, they did open up this school wether it is good or bad I am not sure. I personally, do not know anyone who have attend or had attended this school. But, I am going to be attending this institution, I had visited the school very nice staff equipped to educate a decent size of students.
  4. I actually met two co workers who had gone to cannj and they loved it. But, unfortunately due to the travel time and were my job is at. I will be going to AMG LPN SCHOOL IN brooklyn.
  5. I have been reading a varieties of posting on lpn schools on this site for the past three years. I would say from what I had read had been 60% negative. After reading all these posting why am I still going to LPN school? Because as an individual I firmly believe you are the master of your own destiny. How conducive you are to a change mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically is what produce your output. In the past six years in New York City more LPN school's have been popping up recently. You can go to LPN school and go to LPN to RN program such as the heller keller school, CANNJ have a lpn to adn program. Going straight to a BSN program depends on the mental, emotional and just as important financial support someone have to go straight to a BSN program. As a independent adult I can not lay back and go straight to a BSN program. With the LPN program I can work and go to school. When I graduate I can work at the hospital I am employed at, to be an LPN and go to LPN to RN. My best advice to anyone looking to be a nurse who does not posses a background. You should first going into a CNA OR Patient Care Technician program, get hire in a hospital. Not, only to get you familiarize with the 'culture of healthcare," but you will get a first hand choice at a job once you graduate. In addition you will have access to tuition reimbursement, some places do not offer that much but some money is better than no money.
  6. Ambulatory care, same day surgery, dialysis, and nursing home.
  7. TRY Workforce1 - Job Opportunities and Expert Advice for New York City's Jobseekers they have alot of jobs. You can also try FEGS they help you with resume and interview coaching, they recently had a healthcare job fair in Manhattan. I find the people at workforce1 and fegs to be absolutely wonderful. They do not charge companies to find prospective employees, they prepare you very well for job interviews give it a shot. Good Luck!!
  8. Hi muneca13 did you graduate if so how long did it take you to get a job?
  9. Hello everyone: I had read some post in the distance past about the center allied health Nursing in Nj from. I had learned about this school from two ex co worker, who had resigned to go and graduate from the school. Now, they have change their name to "Jersey college," I would like to know. How is the institution operating now?
  10. how did you do on the entrance exam?
  11. WOW, time to get another job.
  12. Good evening everyone, I had recently had done some investigation on this Nursing program at ASA College in Brooklyn, New York. I went to the school personally, and I have to say I am not impress at all. I would tell everyone give it a couple of year's for the program of this institution to build a reputation. Majority of the program Nursing program's are registered with the NLNAC currently known as Accreditation Commission for education in nursing website Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. | Formerly NLNAC | National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc.. They are not accredited by the Ace Nursing organization at all, in additition their first semester of ginea pigs students begin Fall of 2013. So, this program have no history to base it on, in addition they are asking for $550.00 A CREDIT!!!! FOR A NON NATIONAL ACCREDITED PROGRAM??? PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. THEY ARE BASICALLY ASKING ALMOST $35,000.00 A YEAR.
