considering moving to CA
Thanks for the quick reply. I've always wanted to live in CA and I'm pretty open to where. That's unfortunate that most new grad positions are closed already, but I've found there are some hospitals that don't have formal programs and new hires can start pretty much any time. Do you know of any hospitals like this in CA?

Mij, What did you think of getting only 6-8 weeks orientation in ICU? Were you ready to be on your own after that time?

How long of an orientation would you consider to be adequate for a unit such as the ED or ICU?

Any New Grad ICU positions day shift??
Thanks for the great leads! I'll definitely be checking those out LadyT I went to the monster site and it said: must be willing to make an employment commitment of 24 months, but you said it's a year long program. Do they allow a 12 month commitment as well?

Any New Grad ICU positions day shift??
I am 1 month away from earning my BSN. I am looking for New Grad ICU positions that have good orientation programs. The few positions I come across are night shifts and my body cannot handle these. Does anyone know of any day shift positions anywhere in the US?
