  1. My first day on the floor was last friday. It was really challenging. I feel so overwhelmed as a new nurse!! I have so much to learn!!
  2. I actually start working on the floor next week. I did do a semester of clinicals on ortho and I loved it. Yes, there is lifting involved, but it is awesome to see people recover from ortho/neuro surgeries.I wouldn't think that it is more than other units. Its a good place to be for me because I didn't want to work on a "sick" floor. The experience is good too because we have post-op patients and they also have other issues as well. :)
  3. Thank you! I am really looking forward to it!!
  4. Hey everybody! I am graduating in may and I have a position as an RN on the ortho/neuro floor. I am really excited and also curious if y'all have any advice for me!! Thanks, Ash :)
