  1. I will be taking OB/PED next fall, and after reading all your postive experiences I will consider it to be one of my choices. I have no idea where I am going - 'am just going to have an open mind until I stumble into something magical like Envy did.
  2. I am an African (from Africa), and Yes (1) many pregnant women eat dirt. A recent study showed that it was actually healthy to do so. (2) Looking away is practised by many Africans - by directly looking at someone especially older person means disrispectful, rude and lack of shame. Relgion also has some influence: In Islam for example, people talk while looking down and not directly, especially if they are of different gender. I am not sure if this is inflluenced by the individual culture or it is part of the religion. I will verify this once I get further info. Have an open mind when dealing with others.
  3. 1st = 27 (I have 3 children). I wish I started earlier, I am struggling with young ones now, and going to school again.
  4. Okay, Okay. I did not do well in the first critical thinking test given to us and I panicked, but now my score is high B. I think you should not stress too much about it will come as you study. Look at example tests, this will give you a direction on what is required. Focus on what you learn. Also, what is more important on the choices, i.e. Manslow Phisiology comes before Safety and Security..etc. Good Luck.
  5. Bonnie thanks for the tips.

  14. 1. Thanks for the info about the Leadership class, that should put me at six credit. Do you think if I take an extra class, say Chemistry my load would be too heavy? Considering I have 3 kids, husband, and a house waiting. 2. So, Eagle Girl, what have/did you do the 2nd semester regarding credits? Or what is the solution? Anybody? 3. Regarding Car Pool, can we start planning. Thanks. ----You are all great!! Lets keep this community going.
  15. 6789 I am sorry for not calling, if you have my # pls. call. Also, I know there's a store in Town center malll for nurses uniform. It is called Life ... just next to JC penny. They have 10% discount for students. I am planning on going there this weekend to take advantage of the tax-free day. They have shoes for sale, and some uniforms. So a good time to shop, this weekend. They also carry stethescope and stuff. I lost my communication for a while due to unstable cable line. My question now is regarding Financial aid. I have only one class - Nursing and that 's only 5 hrs credit which pell doesn't pay if less that 6 cr. I need to take some classes online with NGCSU, anybody with this same issue, or similer? HELP! Otherwise I am excited about coming fall, and hope to see you all. Can we car-pool 6789 or anybody else to go to MAIN Campus on the 15 and 17th, from this area? Woodstock, Kennesaw, Acworth etc.
