  1. I have been accepted to WGU. So far I've asked many people of their thoughts and I may pick WGU over Msmc. I went to MSMC for my bachelors in gerontology and my friends graduated with their BSN from MSMC. I asked them if being a MSMC graduate helped them with finding a job and they said not really.
  2. Yup 23K for the whole program!
  3. I did some digging and found out you are attending (?) WGU! please tell me how you like the program (pros and cons)! I personally know MSMC graduates so they are biased on their thoughts about MSMC. I have yet to actually talk to a WGU student/graduate from the La area. You are like a unicorn!!!
  4. Hi everyone! I just finished my interview for the AccBSN (fall 13) for MSMC. My dilemma is that I also got into WGU's nursing program. MSMC would cost me 60K and WGU 23K. MSMC is a year long and WGU is 2.5 years long. I really don't know what program I should attend. I know MSMC nurses are very reputable and get hired right after they graduate. What about WGU graduates? Any thoughts? Are there any ABSN graduates/students and WGU Nursing Graduates/students out there that can help a prospective nursing student out? :)
  5. These were the questions for my interview: 1. why do you want to be a nurse? 2. How do you handle stress? 3. When things do not go to plan how do you handle the situation 4. Do you have any kids? Single? 5. Are your family and friends supportive? Thats all that I can remember Right now I'm decided whether or not MSMC vs WGU. Does any one have any thoughts about WGU nursing program? I been accepted to it and like some help deciding... Msmc costs 60K and Wgu costs 23K. Msmc is 1 year and Wgu is 2.5 years. help! Congrates on those that gotten an interview! I feel like if you gotten though to the interview stage then you made it
