RN wanting RCIS
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on this site :) I have been an RN for 4 years and have been in the cath lab for 5 months now. I am currently switching from a hospital that allows nurses to scrub to one that does not. I personally love scrubbing and would like to obtain my RCIS. I'm not having much luck with Google trying to find the process of an RN obtaining RCIS certification. Does anyone know this process? Any recommendations on study guides/books for RN to RCIS? Thank you! -Devin

18ers, how was it???
I'm not sure if all states do this, but on the FL Dept of Health website- there's a link to see exam scores. They were posted at 9:30 am today :) I have my license number too!

I passed! I had about 10-15 SATA, 2-3 Ordered Response, 3 EKG strips, 1 math calculation, 1 exhibit.

18ers, how was it???
I took mine today, had between 130 and 140 questions. I'm getting the "good pop up". Hoping it's right! :)

How should I answer SATA if I'm not sure??
My instructor said she spoke with an NCLEX lady and was told that if a question only had one answer it would be a multiple choice question, and rarely will all of the answers be correct. So it's most often going to be between 2 answers and 1 less than all, but it could be all of them.

Congrats! my test is on tuesday and my scores are mostly in the 50s so i've been feeling nervous. thank you for this post!

Has anyone applied to Florida Hospital Feb/March new grad?
Hello everyone :) I believe "Under Initial Review" on the GN Program is a good thing. I was just offered a position yesterday, and the GN Program still says that. However, the floor I accepted an offer from now says "Offer of Employment Accepted". For me, I applied April 15, got the phone interview call May 2, then a call for an interview on May 15, and then my interview was May 23. Good luck! Maybe some of us will be coworkers in July!
