  1. Someone help me out- I always pour ursine over the multistix so not to contaminate the specimen- getting pushback from someone at work about it. How do you do it & why? Thanks!
  2. Hi all, I'm a longtime LPN in an office new to me. I've tackled the transition to an all computer format(yikes) and am now working on educating the MA staff a bit. My first inservice will be on the patient passing out during venipuncture (anyone want to guess what precipitated that?) I'd love to do one a month, but everything I am finding online leans more toward CNA's in facility settings. Any ideas? THANK YOU!
  3. you are young & on your own, so it may be easier in one respect....take a midnight shift in a nursing home, you'll start with more hourly... and still have the daytime to wander & learn your way around a bit. Congrats & GOOD LUCK!!!
