  3. Ok guys so I am starting my final semester in Maryville FNP program and overall, my feelings have been more good than challenging. I will start with the challenges. -If you are not disciplined, the program is not for you. You have assignments due almost everyday and there is a minimum of three exams for each class. 2 out of the 3 exams are proctored. Yes you will be recorded while you are taking the exams and they are very strict about maintaining exam integrity and gudelines. -Some of the professors are available to assist with any issues or if you need clarification about certain topics, you can text or email them and they are very prompt with responding. But there are some who will take forever to get back to you and if you miss an assignment by a few hours, you get a 0. Absolutely no leniency. -Tuition is kind of expensive. But hey which one isn't? Pros- -If you have kids, husband and a full time job, it is very convenient and doable because it is 100% online. -Some of the professors are highly knowledgeable. -If you study and utilize the learning modules you will do great- (no-brainer) -Being in group with dedicated classmates will make your project go smoothly So that is it for now. Anybody else at Maryville please feel free to chime in.
  4. Ok i am sure this has been said multiple times over and over again, but i find it funny that nurse practitioners knowing how difficult it was for them to find a preceptor (bless those who found it easy) are unwilling to accept to precept a student. What is that about??
  5. That's great, congrats!! I know you are excited:)
