  1. Anyone have any problems with the school nurse? I faxed her my immunization records and flu shot and she uploaded some things and not others. Like it says i need a flu shot and a color blind test and i did them. I went to her today directly and it sounded like she was on drugs not to be mean. No help at all.
  2. 119. Dosage killed me. Only a B. The teas i only got 3 points for each of them. A in physio and B+ in anatomy. If theres one thing worth retaking it would be dosage. Definatly wouldnt retake anatomy. Hopefully i dont have to though...
  3. The suspense is killing me.. I really hope i get in. Otherwise, id have to look into RIC or somewhere else. I dont exactly want to wait until January or Feb to apply for September.. Whole bunch of time would be wasted.. Crossing my fingers..
  4. Yeah, they pulled mine today too. Im getting nervous now
  5. Someone on Fb posted their application and they got accepted. Pretty soon we should know?
  6. At our local hospital, we do hourly rounds on every patient. We get around 9 patients each. For those who are incontinent or bedridden, every 2 hours we change and reposition them. We do QC for the glumeters (CNAs do blood sugars), ADLs for every patient, wash one complete patient, pass ice water, and perform vital signs and necessary weights on every patient. Sometimes i love 11-7, sometimes i hate it lol.
  7. Sorry for the late reply. Two things that really helped me was 1. Flash cards. I bought these really detailed flashcards by Kaplain (sp?) and they cover every system and every detail. I took 2 flash cards, memorized each part over and over. Then once i knew i was pretty good on those two cards, i added another. Then kept rotating them back and forth quizzing myself. Slowly adding more and more back untill the system was covered. 2. I video recorded everything in lab. When the professor was disecting each part of the cat to the whole class, i video recorded her. As she said "This is the ____. This is the ____. I watched the video over and over untill i memorized what she was pointing to. Hoped that helped.
  8. Hi guys. I need some guidance in where to go on my problem. Right now, my grades are Anatomy B+, Physio A, Eng 1010 A, Intro B, Dosage B, and im taking Micro this summer. Im pretty determined to get atleast an A- but im just praying because its a summer course and alot more is crammed in 6 weeks. Anyway, i believe the application period for CCRI is by August 15th. Meaning, i should have Micro done by then because im taking it for Session 1. Ive been studying for the TEAS test and hope to get around 11 points from the test. I shouldnt count my chickens before they hatch, but that would put be around 121 points (Also scored above 90 in reading on Accuplacer so +5). I also registered for Dosage again for Session 2, just incase i dont get in the program with 121 points if i atleast go from a B to a B+, that would be 5 extra points. Math is my weak point so i dont think i'd be able to score an A in that one lol. Only problem is, I work 11-7, and because the summer courses are so compacted, the classes are longer and it doesnt leave me alot of room to sleep, study and work. Im just afraid that would affect my grades in the end. What would you do? Would you drop the Summer class and attempt the program with the 121 points? If i dont get in, i would retake dosage in the Fall and apply in the next opening. Or would you push yourself and retake dosage in the Summer and hope for a better grade than a B? Much appriciated guys :) thank you!
