  1. @sajiad and yini please don't give up. When I was 18 I drop out of Chicago Community College without dropping the classes I was taking. So when I went back to school years later, I had a GPA of 1.9. I told my adviser that I wanted to be a nurse; she told me I would not get accepted because it would be impossible for me to raise my GPA up. I went from a 1.9 to a 3.45 in three semesters. I made sure I got all A's in every class I took. I didn't let anyone detour me from reaching my goals. Never give up on your dreams.
  2. Did anyone see the math review part? On one of the papers I download it states, "complete the math review to the best of your ability." I don't see a math review package.
  3. @Trw81 call one of these #[h=4]find out if you qualify for WIA funding[/h] Contact one of the Chicago Workforce Centers for orientation information: Northside: 5060 N. 4. @Trw81 try to apply for WIA. Their intake days are on Mondays and Wed. They give up to $8,000
  5. I am so glad I saved $6,000 for the nursing program. A friend of mine completed their RN program, so she advise me to put money aside for school.
  6. I hope you get your acceptance letter.
  7. 67.2 on teas, 60 in reading, G.P.A 3.4, A's in all of my science classes, B in English 101.
  8. I just looked at my e-mail, and I got accept. Thank you, God!!
  9. I hope today is the day We all hear something. Good luck to all!!!! Let us all Get accepted!!
  10. I took chem and psy already. I took all the classes I need for my RN. I plan on going to resurrection university for their LPN to BSN program; as a result, I basicly took all of their reqiure classes. If I don't get into Wright I am going to apply to Resurrection. I pray I get accept at wright first because it's my plan A.
  11. @sajid, I called, but I didn't get an answer. I am so tired of stalking my e-mail. I wish they let us Know, so I can make arrangements with my job if accepted.
  12. @yini, I feel the same way. I am very nervous
  13. You need to submit your High School Transcript.
  14. sajid3786 my reading score is under 70.5. I wasn't going to apply to for the summer program, but my advisor said I may have a chance. May is good for me. This is a scary time; however, I think we will be ok.
  15. That is a good score. When I talked to an adviser, he said a 70.5 is recommend. Also, he stated, "if a person overall score is high a person may have a chance of getting in only if he/she completed Bio 226 and 227." Talk to an advisor at Wright.
  16. I would apply! You can complete 227 while in the program. You have to have it completed before you can do life span 3. Talk to an advisor at Wright college. They are very helpful.
  17. Yes, He stated that "I might have a chance of getting in." I scored 31points on the PN Pre-Admission Evaluation Form, and I took BIO 226 and 227.
  18. I understand how you feel; I studied everyday for about four months. When I took the test I freaked out on the reading part, I didn't conqure my nervous until the math section was over. As a result, I scored a 67.2% on the teas test.
  19. I think anyone who want to be a nurse fear not being good enough; however, we can't let fear take over our lives. I fear not being smart enough, so I study, study and study, so I can overcome that fear. I fear driving on expressways; as a result, I pray and drive. I can't let my fear get the best of me!! Good luck being a nursing student and a future nurse.
  20. I have taken the teas test, and I hated that test. I have a 3.451 GPA, I got A's in the classes that count, I studied the teas book; however, I felt defeated when I got my score back. The first time it was a 58.9% the second time it was a 67.2%. Also, I didn't do to well on the reading portion. No excuses, I was un-focuse because of the time, and I was just scared. I applied for the LPN program at the Community College of Chicago anyway; I hope I get in. Life can be scary when you are at a stand still; for example, I am waiting on a group of people to decide my next move/fate. Whoever else is going through this process, I pray that god answer your prayers! Good Luck!!
  21. Mscoleman 78 you are an inspirational to everyone that are going through the most intimidating time of their lives. Just like everyone else, I want to be a nurse. I applied to Wright 2015 nursing program; I am scared that I wont get accept because of my reading score, which is a 60. My overall score on the teas is a 67.2, and my GPA is 3.45. Do you think I have a change of getting accept?
  22. I am applying to Wilbur Wright Summer 2015 LPN program. I took the teas test twice the first time I scored a 58.9% with a low reading score of 60. The second time I scored a 67.2% with a reading score of 69.5%. My GPA is 3.45. I hope I get in. I know they recommend a reading score of 70.5.
