I just read the 2012 review, and I have to say NOTHING has changed. If you want more info, private message me.

The PCC Numbers are very skewed. You will see that only 75% or less of the original class size graduated and went on to take the NCLEX. Do not be misled by the numbers. PCC program is flat out awful. Our teachers are totally unqualified for their jobs.

As a member of 2015 PCC cohort I can tell you YES it does matter. If you got into OHSU GO THERE. THere is simply NO comparison at all.

third year at OHSU is all online, you can see allthe details on their website. THere are several upped division classes you have to take before you can metriculate, none of which are offered at OHSU so think about that too. Many people in my PCC class are going to PSU over summer full time to get them done

for those of you applying to PCC I am a member of the 2015 cohort and all I can say is this: if you get in somewhere else DO NOT CHOOSE PCC. It is the most disorganized, disrespectful, catty, bullying program. The professors are unprofessional, the standards are sub par, and it is a complete waste of your time and money. If you get in to OHSU and think, well I will go to a CC for those first 2 years to save money - DONT DO IT. GO TO OHSU. WE have terrible clinical sites, the teaching methods are ridiculous (we lost 10 classmates alone flunking out of patho and pharm last term). I have classmates that got into other schools whop are kicking themselves now. I dont care if PCC is closer, cheaper, more convenient. Think LONG AND HARD before you decide to join this program.

Hey all, I think in order to set up the FB group I have to be FB friends with some of you, but I'm not sure. I think I can just start a page, which I will try to do and get back to you all here. Also, I had my grad plan meeting today and stopped byt he bookstore to buy my arm patches and they didn't appear to have very many...so maybe order some now?

No. I am #33 on the list, or at least I was when we were all notified. If you are #27 and you decline then #28 gets in, if they haven't already. But PCC would not give me any details. The email simply said the waitlist has stalled. So I know there are at most 5 people ahead of me, 4 after you decline.

I contacted PCC today to check in and they said the waitlist has been stalled for the past couple of weeks, and as of today I am still waiting Not sure if Harpers Mom declined her spot yet, but that still wouldn't put me in the mix.
