  1. Hi Jojonavy, Thank you for starting this thread. I have also applied for the Fall 2014 traditional MSN program. I am a CNM/WHNP hopeful and I am looking forward to hearing from admissions in March!
  2. Yes, I got into all three programs I applied to. I am happy to say that I have chosen to attend BC because it seems like to best fit. I wish you the best of luck in whatever program you choose and hope the new job works out! Take care.
  3. I live in Portland, OR :) I am sorry that you haven't had any luck finding a job as a new grad. I was fortunate that the job market was great when I graduated. I worked in L&D right out of school and have been in women's health ever since. I have a family member who went to BC but not to the School of Nursing- he was a Business major. He loved it and he is still a die hard Eagle! I have heard from other Bostonians that BC's NP program is really strong and it has a great reputation in the community. I've applied to a few other NP programs but my options were limited because I have not taken my GRE. If I don't get in this Fall, my plan is to take the GRE so I can send out more applications next semester. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!
  4. Hello rainingeleven! I also applied for the Fall 2013 WHCNP program at BC. I am happy to hear they will be contacting candidates by the end of May. That is exciting! My husband and I are moving to Boston this summer from the West Coast. I have been a nurse in women's health for 6 years and I am really excited about the possibility of going back to school for my NP. If you don't mind me asking, are you from Boston? Why did you choose to apply to BC? Best of luck getting into the program! Please keep me updated if you hear anything and I will do the same:)
