  1. I am a recent new grad of an RN BSN program and landed a job on high risk labor and delivery! Nursing school was very hard in the beginning especially fundamentals. Please read your books front to back. I remember my orientation day freshly ironed scrubs long white socks and white leather tennishoes. I told myself the next three years would take forever and now its over?!!??? After two babies through school i am proof that it can be done! When you get to med surge please stop reading front to back lol just narrow in on your professors lectures because they will tell you what you need to know. Good luck to all starting their journey

Hello I recently graduated with my RN BSN and accepted my dream job on a high risk L & D unit. My training will be 14-16 weeks then I will most likely go to nights. I would love advice from all the seasoned OB nurses on tips or general things I should be prepared for. I feel so blessed for this opportunity!!
