Anyone hear anything? I saw somewhere else someone got a rejection email from Children's so hopefully it means they are starting to notify people now.

I recently went back through allnurses.com and saw that Children's sometimes went 2 weeks past their date for notifying people. I know someone that works there as an aide and she said no one has been contacted yet. So let's cross our fingers we hear something this week! :)

Do you have a previous bachelors degree? My email said starting with the July cohort if you have a previous degree you don't have to take the hesi exam. It's exciting either way I just wish I knew for sure :) guess ill have to wait until march! :) good luck everyone.

Does anyone know if the email is saying we got in? It leaves a lot of room for wondering since it states after the interview you will come back 2 weeks later to finalize papers for tuition and enrollment papers. Thoughts?? :)

Thanks everyone. I think it comes down to my chemistry class that I got a C in and is 5 credits worth. It was almost ten years ago when I took it, when I had no intentions of getting another degree. I'll just keep my head up, see what happens next round and try again if I don't make it and have to retake chemistry. Good luck everyone!!

Reese1982. It says you can take up to two classes the semester before school starts. One can be statistics one can be a science. So your fine. The info is on their website. Don't withdrawal!! As for anyone else out there that got an interview would you mind disclosing your prerequisite GpA. I didn't get an interview and I'm pretty sure it's because of that gpa being so low. Ill apply for the two year and if I can't make it, ill have to retake three of the five classes because they expire. congrats to everyone that got an interview.

Do we know if today was the only day they will send out invites? I know it's says if you haven't heard by July 15th. But I'm getting the feeling lots of emails went out today. I just wish I knew for sure I didn't get an invite or if there is still hope for next week?

ac1125- I know that they usually only admit 10% of the total applicants. In the years past its been around 300-400 apply and 30-40 get in. Congrats both of you. This info is good to know they are sending emails out and also makes me even more nervous about not getting one, since I haven't received one yet. Oh well. All I can do it wait and see and then reapply for the two year August 1st.

Elliot237. I suspect it will take them atleast a week or two to even read through all the applications. If we don't hear by July 15th then we know we didn't make the cut. But I'm trying not to worry about it until at least the beginning of July. Good luck :) :) but maybe people can post on here if someone gets an email then we will know when they started letting people know.

I just turned in my application a few days ago. I don't have any high expectations because I don't have a very high gpa. But I do feel pretty good about my essay. Now it's just time to wait until July 15 th to see if I get an interview. :)
