  1. Hello! I recently accepted a position as an EPIC application analyst for OPtime. I have about 4 years experience as an IMCU, ER, and PACU RN. I also became a credentialed trainer in OPtime (Only did this for a few months) before I accepted this position. My credentialed trainer work was exclusively education for new hires. I'm a bit nervous because I have no IT experience and I feel like I don't know what's going on. I'll be headed to EPIC for training soon and am hoping I will feel better after that education. Is there anyone else who worked as an RN and moving to the informatics world with no IT experience? I'm being told a lot of the learning will come from doing the actual EPIC projects. Thank you in advance!
