  1. I believe they are still interviewing for their residency program. you can just google MGH residency program or look in MGH career section.
  2. Lopeme: December break is the longest 3-4 weeks. All others are 2-3 weeks.
  3. Set up a FB group so you can provide support for each other as my group did and start to get to know each other. you will truly enjoy the program. I have the best clinical placements to date at top Boston hospitals. You will be on the floor from Semester 1. The program is very challenging but doable. Best of luck...
  4. correct, the last semester is shorter, it is immersion, working 1 on 1 with a nurse 8-10 weeks
  5. There is no class 100% online. There are hybrid classes which gives enough face-to face. Faculty is always available to meet you. let me know if you have any questions
  6. AEC626, I am a current student at IHP into my 3rd semester in the program. My undergrad and prereqs GPA was similar to yours. From my experience with my classmates, IHP is not just about GPA. You need to really SELL yourself in your essay; display growth, leadership, collaborative spirit and shows understanding of the nursing profession . I would also ensure the letters of recommendations are strong. If I were in your shoes and really wanted to attend the school next May I would get in touch with admission for feedback on your application. Not sure if you are in Boston, you may want to attend one of their info session in other to get a face to face with the admission team. Best of luck. You will get in the next term
  7. AEC626, don't give up hope, re-apply for the May 2015 cohort. I have seen students get in the second time around
  8. I started the program last Spring (jan 2014), starting my 3rd semester on Monday. It goes by fast. I am enjoying it a lot. Hard work but so worth it
  9. I know how it feels waiting for that email. My email came in on a Saturday last year around noon. Good luck to everyone
  10. My sister in law is at MCPHS nursing program, she was able to transfer her credits from Quincy to their nursing program in Boston. Try talking to them
  11. Hi Alyssa Congratulations! Where did you get the information about student orientation and the start date of Jan 13, was that emailed to you. I did not hear anything about the start date
  12. I got in! I am so excited!
  13. Got my letter today. Was also rejected. Not terribly disappointed. Best of luck to everyone. Will try again next year
  14. I did not get a letter today, we'll see what tomorrow bring.
  15. Hi Pavolga, I am local, only 20-25mins away from Curry depending on traffic. We'll see what tomorrow brings
