  1. i used kaplan only for the qbanks, trainers, readiness, and sample test 1 and 2..... kaplan is great for questions for sure... i would make sure you focus on the remediation when you are done with the tests i also used hurst and thought it was great for content review.. i would definitely use hurst if you feel like you need to go over content... the practice test they have are good too and the rationales are decent .. while i was taking my nclex i swear i could hear their accents as would answer the questions in my head lol i thought nclex3500 was GREAT for alternate format questions which my test was at least 50% of..... btw i actually thought that kaplan was great for priority questions which i also had a lot of :)
  2. I am most likely not going to reschedule because to be honest it really isn't going to do me any good cause ill just feel the same way when that test date gets closer too. I just have to calm myself down and before you even posted this I was thinking about getting a massage the day before LOL and I need to remind myself to breathe! And I also have to admit I have been reading this website daily and have been getting more nervous with every thread being posted about failing numerous times...
  3. also kaplan said that as long as you get above a 55% on qt7 you should be fine for nclex... i hope this is true.... i got a 64 on one of the secure predictors and felt okay about it.... SATA is my worst nightmare but i have been doing nclex 3500 alternative format questions too since kaplan doesn't have that many SATA... my test anxiety is through the roof and had a panic attack today
  4. OH MY GOD... i feel better after reading this... i take my exam pretty soon and i am a nervous wreck and have contemplated changing my date numerous times because i feel like no matter how much i study and how many banks / trainers i do i am not prepared... i also get nervous because my client needs category scores are all over the place but my qtrainers are have been okay from what i understand qt5 61.3 / qt6 63 / gt7 60.... ugh still super nervous but have been trying to calm myself down and just do questions!
  5. Omg I would love your study plan and the nclex study guides you thought where helpful! I will be taking the nclex in june/july and am so scared after I have been hearing how hard they made the test now! My email is [email protected] Thank you!
  6. i absolutely love NEIT! it is such a great school and the teachers genuinely care about you and how you are doing. there are so many student services that are free to all students. our simulation lab is crazy like such high tech equipment and the sim dummies are so life.... they do everything a live person can so its nuts. all the teachers ive worked with so far are really nice and are there for you whenever you need them. the only complaint i have is that most of the higher up people dont always answer your emails if you need something so that can be annoying at times. the school is pricey but if you think about it .....you get what you pay for. PM me if you want to talk more!
  7. hi everyone! ever since i decided to go to nursing school i knew i wanted to go into peds or labor and delivery. I would love to work at hasbro but i know its super hard to get into. I was thinking that while im in school i should try to volunteer at the hospital so i can get my foot in the door. As of right now my specialty choices are peds or labor and delivery but definitely leaning more towards peds because ive always loved working with kids. Do any peds nurses have any ideas or advice to give me so i can get my foot in the door? i dont mind volunteering and i actually think it would be fun and it always looks good on your resume too! Thank you!
  8. also if you want to know anything else you can PM me anytime you want! i love helping out future nursing students because when i was going to take the entrance exam i had no one to talk to or anything so i know how it feels
  9. i just responded on the other thread but its the Kaplan entrance exam and its on basic math reading writing and anatomy
