  1. Yes I am graduating from Rutgers NB. I've heard that a Rutgers undergraduate degree definitely gives an applicant an edge. While they do not advertise it, it shows them that you can handle the rigor of the courses that Rutgers offers. I am hoping to go to the NB campus if accepted, since I live only 15 minutes away. From what I understand, they will place you closer to where you live, but I am not completely sure. I am super nervous too! Best of luck to all of you!
  2. Hey! My name is Emily and I am also a Rutgers ABSN program hopeful! I will be graduating with my B.S. in public health this May, with a 3.7 gpa (right now I have a 3.691- but I will more than likely get a 4.0 this semester which will bump me up). I have completed all the pre-requisites for the program, except for microbio which I am taking now. I have taken all the pre-requisites at Rutgers as well. I have three years of part-time healthcare field experience (which I wrote in my personal statement). Rutgers is my first choice. I have yet to apply elsewhere since I have not taken a chem lab, which most other programs require. I am extremely nervous since I too heard that the Rutgers program is extremely competitive. I can't take the wait anymore! I just want to know if I got in. The only thing keeping me sane is reading threads from previous years of other students who were also in this situation. By the looks of the threads from previous years, decisions were made right about the last week of March/first week of April.
