  1. That's how everyone feels when we got accepted. Looking back, I wish I had made a different choice.
  2. No, I didn't complete the program. They found a very controversial avenue to dismiss me, after expending about $52,000 in tuition. They possibly see some excellent potentials in me that poses a threat to all their injustice and biases. I can tell you right now that if they see a student acting like a civil right celebrity, he/she will be somehow forced out of the program by way of dismissal. I was averaging A in the very course I got dismissed. They found a way, in the clinical settings to deemed me not fit to continue in the program. Life without DePaul has been great for me. I have no regret. They will live with the consequences of their actions for the rest of their lives.
  3. You have nothing to worry about. Everything happened for a reason. I am in the same nursing program where the Director of the program and the Retention Committee will determine who will graduate or who will be dismissed. I have seen many innocent, smart, and intelligent students dismissed because of the color of their skin or their nationality. I have heard stories of students being dismissed simply because the Director and some faculty members don't just like them. I have seen some faculty members literally help out the students who are considered their favorites and others are compelled to fail or dismissed. I have seen a student dismissed for having 81.5 instead of 82, while others are being assisted. We live in a strange world with people who have no conscience. But I am a firm believer in the law of Karma. What goes around comes around. Somehow, the consequences will come on such unscrupulous faculty members. It might be few years down the road, but it will come. So dear, cheer up!! Don't be discourage and stand tall. Whatever has been destined for you by God can never pass by. It will only take few more years and you will graduate as a nurse and nobody can stop that. Once there is life, there is definitely hope. Cheerup!!
  4. All I can say is that DePaul MENP Program is not worth the investment. It's a complete waste of time, money, and resources. My advice for potential students? Go the BSN route in a reputable school that would treat all their students with respect and dignity. To me, going through the DePaul MENP Program was a DISASTER. It was the WORST mistake of my life. Looking back, I wish I had tored the acceptance letter into pieces when I received it. I wish I had rejected it. You will be a target if you speak out your mind. The director and some faculty members will ensure they make your life a living HELL if you stand up against injustice, inequalities, and unfairness. Well, the ball is in your court. You can go check it out. It's up to you.
