  1. I just graduated from NYU accelerated program and I am wondering if anyone else finished in Dec/Jan and knows how long it takes NYU to release that we are eligible to take the NCLEX? I have heard it takes a while but I was hoping someone could give me a more specific time frame?
  2. hi guys! I was just wondering if anyone knew how much books/supplies cost for the fall semester? I am trying to figure out how much loan refund money I have left over for rent after I buy everything
  3. has anyone looked into scholarships and financial aid to pay for NYU? I am paying for this myself, as I'm sure many of you are, and I don't know where to begin! any help would be appreciated! good luck to all of those who are waiting! Im sure good news will come your way soon, the waiting is hard but its worth it!!
  4. i was accepted this morning at 6:45am!!! I am so beyond excited I couldnt even speak this morning! goodluck to everyone still waiting, no news is good news! I know this has been asked but I cannot find it in the thread, for those accepted, are we regular decision admissions or transfer admissions when we accept our admissions?
  5. congrats guys!! I'm so jealous that you know and aren't waiting anymore! What time did everyone get their acceptance? I am curious how late in the morning they send them until
  6. also, for all those who got in, was there a day you had to tell nyu whether you were attending or not? I'm thinking that they will send out the next round after those who have already gotten in confirm or deny their acceptance.
  7. has anyone heard anything today? I hate this waiting game!
  8. congrats!!! would you guys mind sharing your stats? I'm still currently in undergrad and I have heard that accelerated programs are less likely to accept applicants straight from their first bachelors degree because they lack experience and may be less mature than those with more life experience that can handle the fast pace program. This makes me nervous so I was just wondering what y'alls stats are compared to mine
  9. They told me they had all my transcripts but not my recommendations, even though they were sent over a month ago. I was told they could faxed to their office and have the people writing them put my university ID number on the top to ensure they got put with my application. Their fax number is (212) 995-4911 in case any one else wants to ask their recs to do this!
  10. does anyone know what the total tuition is for all 4 semesters?
  11. I don't think recommendation letters show up on Albert since they are optional. You can try to call admissions and see if they received them! Does anyone know if they are less likely to accept people straight out of college? I have heard that a lot of applicants have a few years of experience outside of college and I am going to graduate this May so I was wondering if anyone knew if that would effect my admissions.
  12. What other schools have you guys applied to for the absn?
  13. I have looked through many past threads about the NYU absn to see peoples stats so I wanted to share my stats. I have a 3.4 undergrad GPA as of now but I am graduating in May so hopefully that will go up, I am not sure what my prerequisite GPA is. I have over 100 hours as a volunteer in a children's hospital over the past year and a half, I am an intern at a non-profit organization helping kids with cancer and their families, and I am the Co-Chair of the volunteer advisory committee at the childrens hospital near me. My GPA is not as good as I wanted it to be but I am hoping my volunteer work will help me. Does anyone else care to share their stats? I am so nervous that I won't get in and have to keep searching for a nursing school once Ive graduated undergrad.
  14. Hi all! I sent in my application for the Fall 2015 this past Friday, the 6th and I received an email saying my application was submitted but nothing about how to log onto Albert. How long did it take you guys to get your Albert NetID?
  15. i applied for the spring as well! I am out of state so I'm definitely nervous my grades aren't good enough since they accept less out of state. What was everyones cumulative GPA? Good luck to you all!!
  16. I also applied for MUSC accelerated BSN for Spring 2014, does anyone know when regular admission is supposed to find out about acceptance? Also I am an out of state student who goes to the College of Charleston currently, are my chances lower than in state?
