  1. Hi there.....I am also 7 months from Grad. from my LPN Program. We are in class 3 days a week and clinicals 2 1/2 days a week. We are on the Med-Surg floor right now and I loved it! I start rotations next week. I cannot wait to go for my RN too!
  2. She says I really need to be confortable in the clinical setting? I am trying but this is all very new to me and I thought the confidence would come later......she wants it now!:uhoh21: Each week I try to do better but she always gives me that same look. I have not done anything wrong yet but I think she feels like I might not make it. I have a 91 in class and I thought I was doing ok in clinicals and she has given me a Sat every week but I feel like she still doesn't think I am up to par. Anyone else feel like this or get this?:chair:
  3. THANKS! :) Makes total sense to me! I am going tonight to get my clipboard and I plan to purchase some sort of bag to put my clinical things in. I have a l.l. Bean Bookbag and it's huge. I don't think they want me lugging that to the hospital. :chuckle
  4. I am getting a lot of my things set up today for school! :w00t: I know what to take to class but what do you take to clinical? Do you take your bookbag or just clinical supplies? Also .....what do you put your supplies in? Do you need your textbooks that day? We have another orientation next Thursday for 4 hours. I guess this might be some of the things we cover. Just kinda wanted to get ready now! I am so excited! School starts 2 weeks from tomorrow.
  5. Wow.....good-luck. I hope everything will work out for you. Take care!
  6. Congrats! :balloons: :yelclap: That is great! I know how it feels to get that call. We are going to have so much fun!
  7. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK!!!!!!!!! :yelclap:
  8. I know what you are talking about. Iwas waiting for my letter and we went 2 days without getting any mail. That never happens. I was so freaked out. I thought great......fine time for the mail to mess up. But it came the next day and I was sooooo happy. CONGRATS on everyone's letters! :smiley_aa
  9. Do you think they will make us a sticky. I am so excited! I wish they would send our orientaion letter so I would know when that was. Do you think we will all be this excited come Fall? :chuckle
  10. I just got my letter this week! I start in August and I am so excited! CONGRATS TO EVERYONE! :balloons: :balloons:
  11. Im in! I am so excited! I found out yesterday I got in the LPN Program for this Fall. I start in August!. This is such great news for me and I needed it!
  12. I have not got my letter either but I so hope it comes soon! I just want to know either way..........am I in.....or not! Good-luck!
  13. Well, I did not get in the LPN Program this Fall. I will get in in January but that is not what I wanted but we don't always get what we want. Anyways....there is a Phlebotomy Course this summer at the college. I could take that and get some experience. Has anyone else taken this? What is your opinon? At least it would give me a little experience. The only thing is that it is MTWTH from 6pm to 9pm. I have a toddler and that will be tough. I have a wonderful husband and I will be working full-time this summer also. Give me some of you guys thoughts! :)
  14. I have to take Drug Dosage this summer and I have heard terrible horror stories on this class. Has anyone taken it? What kind of math is in it? Maybe I can brush up on something before it starts. What could I go over that would help me in the class. Thanks. :uhoh21:
