  1. I'm so excited to meet you all too! Reading the information they sent has made me so excited. Nervous, but so excited!
  2. Mine still says pending department review!
  3. I was one of 176 applicants short-listed for the August 2013 intake. It seems like a ton of people, but I believe they take about 98 students?
  4. This is exciting- I got short-listed as well! I was short-listed for Sept 2013, but did not get offered admission. In the general letter they initially sent me, I was one of 176 people short-listed. The questions on the questionnaire asked about life experience that showcased your communication skills, interpersonal skills, emotional well-being, and being a healthy individual fit to work.
  5. Thanks for making a new thread! Can't wait to hear back!
  6. I believe that all supporting documentation has to be submitted by August 31st in order for your application to be complete and accepted for review. I finished A&P this semester and I'm patiently waiting for the transcripts to get there haha! In regards to your second comment, mine says "received" as well with nothing beside it. This concerned me too, but they sent communication informing methat I had missing requirements and only my A&P marks were missing and were required by the 31st (which I knew because I was currently completing it) so I assume I've met the requirements. If you recieved no letter informing you that you have missing requirements, I'm sure you're fine. But double checking from them directly always gives better peace of mind haha.
  7. Thanks to you both! I appreciate the feedback.
  8. Hello! I have applied for the January 2014 intake and I'm looking for some advice on the Liberal Arts 7001/7002 courses. A BCIT advisor encouraged me to take these two courses as they would make my application stronger, if I do not get in, as well as help me later because they are part of the program. I am struggling to decide if I want to take them online because I have never taken an online course before! I enjoy the structure of going to class and interacting with others, but it may work better for my schedule to take them online. ANY feedback in regards to experience, difficulty, or course content would be super helpful :). Thanks
  9. Good luck to everyone!
  10. You can open it and look at it without having to do it all in one session! That was my fear too haha. You can continually work on it, just make sure you save your work as you go. The final submission date is April 5th.
  11. Hey everyone, What an awesome site-I feel like I have been missing out! I found out today that I have been short-listed for the August intake. Does anyone know how many seats they offer for short-listed applicants?
