Hi, I'm just going into a fast-track RN program this Fall 2013. So I will be writing the NCLEX-RN exam in 2015. For those of you who are in Nursing school now - what is the main difference between the CRNE and the NCLEX? What are your schools/professors saying about the new exam?

I've heard mixed reviews of PBL. Some negative, some positive. I think what you put into it is what you'll get out of it. I've heard PBL is beneficial in clinicals and after you graduate. But PBL can be frustrating in terms of the amount of time and work that goes into it. I think if PBL wasn't an effective learning style for Nursing/Medicine.. Mac would have gotten rid of it years ago.

okay! thanks! I read some forums from last years acceptances to the 2nd degree nursing programs.. people around my average were getting acceptances into mid-June. Geesh so long to wait. My marks this semester are going to boost up my GPA alot.. so I'm hoping Laurier can get their stuff together early May so I can send my final grades to the schools who are waiting for them!

hey veemac, do you have until june 1 to confirm your offer from trent?? i have ~77 avg for my last 10 credits at uni.. hoping to hear from Trent in the next little while. what is a 77 on a 4-point gpa scale??
