I didn’t find out till just under a week ago that I was accepted. I actually emailed Belinda informing her that I hadn’t heard anything, and just making sure she didn’t need any additional information from me. I received my email the very next day!

Those are great points p31Lady. I had always wanted to seek the DNP at some point, so maybe my chances will be better now. Here’s to still hoping and keeping the dream alive!

I have not received any email specific to my interview’s agenda yet. I would expect it soon, bc I think interviews start going around the 28th - June 5th(ish)

Hello everyone! I am currently in the middle of applying for the class starting in Spring if 2021! I have my interview scheduled on June 5th! Does anyone have any advice how to best prepare for the interview?? And any information as to what the interview is like? I’m a nervous wreck over here!?

That’s interesting about the practice interviews in May! Did you have to inquire about that, or are they offering that to everyone who has interviews scheduled?

Hello everyone! I submitted my application on 4/29, and it was marked complete on 5/1. I received and email this afternoon around 4:41pm offering an interview invitation for June 5th. Stay hopeful everyone! I’m sure they are still going through everyone’s applications ?

Hi SalinaA! I received an email a couple days after I submitted my application stating that my application was complete and ready for review. It also said they would review my qualifications then reach out to me in October. I was curious to know if they had already decided to group me with Fall applicants, or if they decided to hold off on April/May interviews because of all this corona stuff going on. ?

Hey Ccunurse 07! I was hoping to get your advice - I too am a UNCC alumn (twice over in fact, lol). I have the goal of applying to the UNCC/CMC CRNA program next Fall of 18', in hopes to be accepted and begin the program in Fall of 19'. I have my BSN, work in ICU, and plan to continue checking off all the other requirements needed for interview consideration. I was hoping to get some advice from you on additional tactics that might be useful to gaining an interview slot, and eventually acceptance😁. I hear endless rumors about how extremely selective the admission panel can be - and knowing a few stats of people who have been accepted vs. those who have been denied, its hard to know exactly what makes the perfect candidate in their eyes. I am often shocked when I find out some people didn't get accepted! I know of quite a few RNs that have amazing ICU experience and are some of the most knowledgeable people I know, and they have been denied admission by this program (but for example another RN with much less ICU experience will get accepted - ????). I was hoping to chat if you are available! Is there a way that you could send me a pm? Thanks so much!!
