  1. Thank U.... All these comments have made up my mind. I am a hands on person. I respect LPN's. But How can you LEARN tp Nurse Like a RN UNLESS you are really there and hands on Oh, YOU CANNOT!!!. I thank all you amazing Nurses for the advice!
  2. Im a IN PERSON/ Hands on person as well. Im a single mom and I was tbinking whats easy. I have realized whats easy isnt always best. I am going to find a place locally. Thank U so much!
  3. Thank U Your just like myself. Im so weary of all these fly by night Nursing Programs. Im totally with you there!
  4. Im moving to the St.Pete area and I am looking for a Nursing school. I was told Galen was a great school and to look them up which I did and I also googled them and found a forum FULL of nightmare stories about Galen. That the school is racist and it should be avoided! There were so many students relating the same stories of how they were failed and the school puts on a good face but it's a total nightmare. I was impressed at first and also liked the fact the school was close to where my new home will be. I was also looking at Rasmussen college which I haven't heard much about. Can some one please give me some insight on this school.Did u go there. Is it as bad as it sounds? I know Nursing school will be difficult but I cant afford to make a mistake. Im a single Mom and I need to get the ball rolling to support my family. Thank U
  5. I may be relocating to the Tampa Area and I have been looking at Galen. I really like what I've seen so far. It's great to have read your experience!
  6. Can anyone direct me to a good LPN to RN degree ( bridge program) that is online? Do they even exist? I saw Excelsior College I believe but haven't had the time to research it much. I am planning on starting a LPN program in August I just want to have a good path to follow. Once I have my RN. I plan on working in a hospital and having them foot the bill for the BSN! Thank You in advance!
