  1. @siberiantiger: you are great for helping us with these questions! More questions, if you have a chance: Are the clinicals 12 hours/2 days throughout the length of the pre-licensure portion? Do you receive support during clinicals from the instructors? How does the clinical portion work? For instance, how do you choose a site/patient? Thanks a ton!
  2. @siberiantiger: Thanks so much for that! Just curious, I may not have picked this up from past posts, but are you a graduate of the program? It looks like they only admit students every 3 years.
  3. Also does anyone know where the clinical sites (some of them) for the ELM program would be?
  4. @ siberiantiger: can you comment on the ability of students to work part-time during the program? Do you know if the NP portion of the program is designed to allow a student to work after they are awarded the BSN? Have you talked to any graduates of the program? Did they have a hard time looking for work? Please if you have a chance, I would appreciate any feedback.
  5. Hey guys I was able to talk to the coordinator, and she confirmed that the BSN portion is still 16 months, although there were talks to make it longer. Also students are guaranteed their NP specialty, and that Peds will take about 3 months longer since there are more clinical hours.
  6. Thanks so much for that informaton! I wasn't able to get that much information out of the coordinator and Im deciding between two schools.
  7. @siberiantiger : thanks so much for the information, really appreciate it. Could you possibly comment on the msn specialty portion, are students guaranteed the specialty that they want?
  8. Hey luxue! That sounds so frustrating. If I was you I would just be calling the school and the department to see what the status is, but maybe you are already doing that...
  9. Hey guys once you start hearing back let us know so we have an idea of when she started informing everyone. The waiting game is brutal, but we are almost there with finding out and starting to plan.
