  1. I will be applying to an MSN Educator program in WGU in October. My question is do they help you find preceptor?
  2. That’s good to know. I will finish my BSN in September and will apply for the MSN program right away. Thank you for your reply.
  3. Does WGU help with finding preceptors? I’ve heard horror stories of people having a hard time finding preceptors. I am about to apply to MSN program, and I’m doing a research of which school offers the most support to the Students. I am deciding between WGU or UT arlington or UTMB.
  4. I graduate ADN last December 2012, and my husband and I are moving to Houston in July. How is the job market there for new grad nurses with no experience? I am also enrolled in an ADN- BSN program. I want to know how much the rn pay is in Houston and which hospitals/ltac hires new grads? We are looking to move to Northwest Houston, the Cypress/Katy area? Are there places there where I can apply? Need advice! Thank you!
  5. Hi! My husband and I are planning to move to Dallas, TX . I am a new grad rn, ADN with no previous healthcare experience. I just want to know my chances of getting a job in Dallas? Do the hospitals welcome new grad RN's from other states such as California? I am currently enrolled in an RN-BSN program, will that help me in finding a job in Dallas? I saw that Parkland Hospital and Texas HEB has GN internships starting in Aug 2013 and July2013 respectively, does anybody know if they take new grads from other states, or do they prioritize those who graduated in Dallas? I would really appreciate any information. My husband is finishing up his Bachelor's in Bussiness Management, and we will move as soon as he graduates. We are tired of California and had heard so many great things about Texas, and we want to relocate to Dallas. My biggest concern is, will I be able to get a job there? Where we live right now, new grad rn's are having a really hard time getting a job, unless they know someone, its basically a lot of waiting.
