Hi guys! I am thinking about applying to el centro as a second choice, I had been hesitant about applying here because even with all the courses I've taken it didn't seem as though my points were going to be very competitive with what I've seen get in in the past and I've taken the majority of support and bsn courses as well. I need to take the HESI still does el centro still give unlimited opportunities to retake it? I read that somewhere in their admissions information one time and thought that was fantastic since some schools only give you one to two chances to take it in a year.

Hey guys are the HPRS courses required or just for additional points?

Can you only apply as a transfer for the fall semester?

Hey guys do ya'll want me to go ahead and get our facebook page going? There are only a few of us on here so far but if other people look this up they will see the fb page it's just easier and apparently allnurses doesn't have their iphone app anymore so that is going to make it very hard for me to keep up on here.

If you have one of the two it counts toward your associate track if you have both the second will count toward your BSN track points but you don't necessarily have to have both as long as you have the amount of hours required to get the four points

Teallime the main campus is having another workshop in June go to the webpage and search TEAS workshop and it should pull the info up for you you have to email the director that you are interested also they will give you these study packets free at the workshop

I wish I could this packet is ginormous but it's the same practice from the ATI teas study manual you can get them at half priced books for nothing! As far as the class I think humanities includes things like into to humanities, philosophy or advanced humanities. Arts would be like art appreciation music appreciation film appreciation etc you get the picture they want you to appreciate the arts lol

You have to take both a humanities and fine arts to get the 4 points. I am using the TEAS app my pocketprep and I had gone to the free workshops the school does so I have printed copies of the pratice tests

You know my main issue was the math because I didn't move fast enough and the science was off putting because it had a lot of earth science but the rest I did fine on

I think I was going to have depending on this semesters classes between like 24-27 depending on final grades before teas so I'm hoping to really do well this time around on my teas that seems like so few points for someone who only has one C and will have all pre req post req and bsn courses except two complete maybe I should have Karen look at my info to make sure I'm adding correctly

Hello fellow nurse applicants! This has been a very difficult and stressful process but I will finally be ready to apply for the spring term. I have taken the TEAS once and missed the passing total median score by two points because the math portion cut me off with almost 2 pages of questions left all of my other sections were good so I am going to practice and retake it soon. Once we get a good amount of applicants to the page and the deadline is here we should create a Facebook group page. Good luck everyone!

Ok just checkin thanks lol I am thinking about retaking ap1 next semester because it is my only C I've completed all the pre reqs and BSN courses except stats and nutrition which I'm taking next semester so I was trying to decide if I would have time in between application and program start (if I get in) to take whatever I have left after this
