  1. Hi molly_molly, As far as I know the case officer assigned to you will communicate with you if he/she will be sending your medical notice thru e-mail. On the other hand, If you get your medical notice by courier your case officer will only send you a message if there is a problem with your documents or medical. But if you haven't received any info from the immig, you just have to be patient and wait for the allotted time frame in processing your visa :)
  2. ]Hi funnybanana1989, You will be needing the OVHC (Overseas Visitors Health Cover for Visitors Visa) for your insurance. It will cost you $108 valid for 3 months :) On the other hand, OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover for Student Visa) costing $127 for 3 months :) Hope this answers your question
  3. When did you apply for the AFP check? As far as I know this is a new requirement from ACN. I completed the application last April 23 and hopefully I will receive it before leaving on the 24th. All the best on your application! :)
  4. Hi there! ARNTP means Australian Registered Nurse Training Program offered by UNISA (University of South Australia) This is the site for your reference: University of South Australia > Program > Australian Registered Nurse Training ProgramAlso, ACN offers an intake for October. Hope this helps! :)
  5. Hi jems! I couldn't send you a private message. I guess your inbox is full. To answer your question, No visa yet. According to the embassy, my visa started to be processed April 15 and due to the holidays.. technically speaking, yesterday (april 30) was the 10th working day. Since today is a holiday, I'm hoping and praying that tomorrow I will receive a message for the dispatch :) God Bless us all! :)
  6. Hi Guys! I'd like to ask if there's anyone who lodged their visa last April 12? I'm done with my medical in my previous application (withdrew my previous application because of the registration problem of the school). Have you received your visa? Mine is still under processing according to the embassy. It's been 10 working days already. I applied for the Visitors Visa SC 600 (business stream)
  7. Ohhh. Haha! Sorry for that Were you able to ask AAON to give you a later intake? Is it possible?
  8. Noveau, I got a prompt message that you need to delete some of your private messages so you can receive mine
  9. Thanks for the info noveau! So registration fee for AHPRA is 160 AUD after the Bridging Program :)
  10. Hi! I'm for May intake as well :) Can I join you guys with jb_101? :) And may I ask when you lodged your visa?
  11. Ohh.. I thought that after BP, when your school forwards your documents to AHPRA for registration there wouldn't be any additional fee. But of course upon application for AHPRA (before BP) there is a corresponding fee. Zheann, the $500 is after the Bridging Program? :)
  12. Do you intend to enter a hospital or health care facility while in Australia? -Yes. Part of the IRON program Do you intend to work as, or study to be, a doctor, dentist, NURSE or paramedic during your stay in Australia - Part of the IRON program Well, that's what I placed
  13. Hi Jems! How is your visa application? May I know when you lodged your visa? :)
  14. Hi zarmp48! To answer you first question. The cost would be, a rough estimate of a total of 850k? Let's say.. 500k for tuition, around 100k airfare (round ticket), 150k housing (2 months), and 100k for allowance. That's according to my friend. But for the allowance it will basically depend on you :) For the next question, I'm not sure if there is a fee for registration after BP. From what I know.. no fee :) Hope this helps :)
  15. Hi nurseZel, Your LOE from AHPRA will expire on April 30 yet you were given an offer for the june intake? I'm just curious :)
  16. Yes you're right. Visitors Visa 600 (business stream)
  17. Hi jb_101 Thanks for your reply. Have to double check my online application for the AFP check. Add me up in Facebook. My last name is Romero :)
  18. Hi jb_101! Sorry I couldn't send a private message so I am posting my reply instead. Yes I am for the May Intake for ACN. Actually, I was supposed to be for April Intake but due to the issue of the immigration and ACN I was moved to the next intake which is May. Did you have the same problem? As for the visa, I am with the agency that you mentioned in your message and my visitors visa 600 (business stream) was lodged last friday. But oddly, I haven't received any text message from the embassy that they received my application. Anyway, for the AFP name check. I was checking the online application and there was a part where I needed to fill up the details on "Contact Number" and Australian Drivers License Number and I couldn't move on to the next because I placed my Number in the Philippines. How is that? Thanks!
  19. Hi Julairose! May I ask when you applied for your visa and what visa you applied for? and for the 3 weeks..was your medical included in that duration?
  20. I would like to ask how to go about with the APF check required by the Australian College of Nursing? I'm for the May intake. Also, has anyone applied for the Visitors Visa 600 (Business Stream 1415) already? Thanks! :)
  21. Victoria takes 1-2 months but the disadvantage is that they don't give extensions. Unlike for WA wherein waiting time is longer, but you can ask for an extension if you can't find a school in the given 12 month period :)
  22. Hi enilocin, CON sends their letter thru e-mail and also by post (after 2-3 weeks) Unfortunately, As for the accreditation. CON is still not accredited under ACN. Although they are working on it and I'm waiting for their e-mail so that I can apply for my visa..again. >.
