Transfering?
I think it really depends on the school because I tried but all the three schools that I had applied to told me I need to start all over because they don't accept NS credit from other nursing program. I'm in my 4th semester and one school even told me I need to take the Teas V. So good luck.

Are You Allow To Review Your Dosage Calculations
Ashley, this is not my first time i'm been introduced to dosage cal, just like every other school, dosage calc was introduced to us in our first semester also, and yes you have to pass dosage each semester with 100% in order to get to the next level. I have been passing it with that 100% and that's why I'm in my 4th semester right now. By anyways, thanx.

DOSAGE CALCULATIONS
I came up with 133.3 mL/hr so the answer key is incorrect. This is how I set it up: 100 mL * 60 min divided by 45 min

Are You Allow To Review Your Dosage Calculations
Thank u all so much! yes I have two dosage calculation textbooks: Dosage calculation by picker and calculate with confidence by Morris. I had my last dosage calc today i needed 10 to pass and I made 9 but for this last one she provided us with an answer sheet so that we can keep the questions. I wish she had started this idea earlier but its too late now. Talking to any other person other than her does not do any good because this problem has been going on for a very long time and I remember last semester she stood in front of the class and said that nobody can change her. So its up to me to decide whether to look for another school or to retake it next semester. If by the day anybody knows off any school pls let me know. Once again a big thank u to u all.

Are You Allow To Review Your Dosage Calculations
RunnerRN2b2014, this particular teacher does not allow students to review any exam or dosage calculation test that she gives and I'm very frustrated because I don't know which questions am missing. I've been asking myself could it the same questions that I'm missing? and the answer is I don't know. I need to start looking for some schools to transfer to because I cannot afford to retake Peds for the third time all because of dosage calculation, anyways thank you.

Am I a failure?
Please talk to somebody who can help, as someone had already mention above may be a counselor. Not passing a nursing class is very up-setting. I know this because I'm in the same boat but I know all hope is not lost.

Are You Allow To Review Your Dosage Calculations
I was just wondering if other schools allow their nursing student to review their dosage calculations after its graded. I'm in my 4th semester in a BSN program and my Pediatric instructor does not allow us to review our dosage calculation test. I'm really frustrated right now because I was supposed to graduate this May but I withdrew last semester because of dosage and I'm retaking it now but it does not even looks like I'll make it in Dec either because of the same dosage. I don't know what I'm doing wrong since we are not allow to review our dosage. Any input is greatly appreciate it!
