I passed NCLEX-RN on the first try! I am an RN!
Did you feel the ATI mobile mentor app questions where on par with NCLEX?

Infection Control
I am not understanding the rationale fully. Why would it be A over C? (My Chicken Hez TB) A night-shift nurse receives a call from the emergency department about a client with herpes zoster who is going to be admitted to the floor. Based on this diagnosis, where should the nurse assign the client?

 Private room

Semi-private room with a client who had chickenpox and was admitted with a GI bleed

 Isolation room with negative airflow

Semi-private room with a client diagnosed with pneumonia

Explanation: Herpes zoster, a highly contagious infection, is transmitted by direct contact with vesicular fluid or airborne droplets from the infected host's respiratory tract. Placing the client with a client diagnosed with pneumonia places that client at risk for contracting herpes zoster. An isolation room with negative airflow isn't necessary for the client with herpes zoster. The nurse should assign the client to a private room. The client could safely room with the client who already had chickenpox; however, visitors might be unnecessarily exposed.

Basic Care and Comfort & Management of Care
I am in the the same boat. My QT scores are in the mid to hi 60s they would be in the 70s if it was not for basic care and comfort. If you find anything that helps please share.

I have the CD. I was just using Hogan for the questions, but I plan on start using it for content and questions.

NEED HELP where to start
Thanks for the input. I think I will do the same and switch to studying content, and doing questions that correlate with that system.

NEED HELP where to start
I am attempting to study for NCLEX, but I can not seem to find a starting point so I can get a routine going. I would like to do 50 questions on a computer and minimum 10 lacharity PDA minimum a day. The problem is some days are good some are horrible which makes me recognize I need to review content not just rationales. Kaplan Readiness 67.8 Kaplan Predictor 70.0 Kaplan Predictor 61.7 Q1 64 Q2 64 Q2 55 Q4 63.3 Mary Ann Hogan (25 questions) 60-75 Qbank (50 questions) 50-72 It does not seem like it is enough time in the day. I still have not set a date for my NCLEX I am waiting on my school to send my transcript to the BON. I would greatly appreciate any insight or suggestions.
